500 word Essay 'Self Reliance'

The values Of this essay are patience and caring, but what are those values about, patience is the ability to endure difficult circumstances such as perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation without responding in annoyance/anger; or forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can have before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast.
Caring is when someone or something that shows kindness and concern for others.
A person who is concerned about others and who does kind things for them is an example of someone who would be described as caring. Those values are in the story in different parts, this story tells to the readers to be themselves and feels comfortable in their own body and with their own thoughts. Emerson posits the effects of self-reliance, altering religious practices, and focusing on themselves, and encouraging people to develop and accept their own culture, this is a clear example Of patience because you have to endure yourself, your body, your personality, your thoughts. etc. Also, Emerson mentions that citizens control the government so they have control. He also mentions how “nothing has authority over the self.” He says, “History cannot bring enlightenment; only individual searching can.” He believes that truth is inside a person and this is an authority, not institutions like religion. Emerson wrote how the community is a distraction to self-growth, by friendly visits, and family needs. He advocates more time being spent reflecting on one’s self. This can also happen in the community through a strong self-confidence. This story give me a good Message and is that everyone of us dont have to be afraid Of what others says, their opinion about us, what they think about us, how they criticize us but we only have to worry about ourselfs, Of our thougts, our personality, our body and that we have to love ourself in the way we are and that we have to love who we are. Also in this essay is not about Taking care of the externals of life, such as food, shelter, and clothing. Instead, it is about the state of one soul, the author strongly advocates for trusting ones inner promptings and following what they say about ones vocation in life. This essay was write by American transcendentalist philosopher and essayist Ralph Waldo Emerson in 1841. It contains the most thorough statement of one of Emerson's recurrent themes: the need for each individual to avoid conformity and false consistency, and follow their own instincts and ideas. It is the source of one of Emerson's most famous quotations: "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. This essay is an analysis into the nature of the “aboriginal self on which a universal reliance may be grounded. While I was reading this essay I realice that the author was thinking in patience while he was writing the essay because if we Want to support ourselfs, we would have to be patience with ourselfs to truly know ourselfs.
